With around 180,000 revellers set to attend Hylands Park over the weekend, a series of road closures and additional train services will be affected in Chelmsford.
Greater Anglia will be providing extra stop offs at the city's station on trains which would not normally call there.
On top of this, extra services will be put on to help people get to and leave Chelmsford with the last trains to destinations at the following times:
1.30am on Sunday to London and Southend Victoria (changing at Shenfield)
1.36am to Colchester
1am to Ipswich
12.07am to Clacton (changing at Colchester)
1.30am on Monday to London and Southend Victoria (changing at Shenfield)
1.33am to Colchester
1.03am to Ipswich
12.33am to Claction
Additional services will also be added on Sunday between London Liverpool Street and Chelmsford between 10.13am and 3.13pm on Sunday.
Essex County Council, who manage the highways around the county, have also set up a number of temporary road closures during the festival.
These involve the following roads:
Widford Park Estate until 6am on Monday
The Priory, Romans Way, Rectory Road, Hunts Drive & Paradise Road in Writtle until 6am on Monday
Margaretting Road from 7am on Saturday until 3pm on Monday
A414 Greenbury Way will have no right turn into Hylands Park until 6am on Tuesday
London Road, Three Mile Hill and Old A12 sections of the A414 by A12 junction from 9pm on Saturday to 5am Sunday and again from 9pm on Sunday to 4pm Monday if required
B1002 A12 Slip Roundabout at Webbs Farm Cottages until 8pm on Friday, between 9pm and 3am on Saturday and Sunday and from 9am to 3pm on Monday
Writtle Road, Margaretting, between 9pm and 3am on both Saturday and Sunday
The A414 Margaretting Road Roundabout will also be closed on the eastern side between 9am and 3pm on Monday.
Organisers of the festival have advised the best way for those coming to Hylands Park should use the shuttle buses at Chelmsford train station which cost £5 for a return ticket.
