Tropical Wings wants names for meerkats!

THESE meerkats need names – and you can help.
Tropical Wings, in South Woodham Ferrers, wants primary school children to come up with names for the four meerkats, which live at the zoo.
They were born at the site in 2007 but have never been officially named by the zookeepers.
Now staff from the centre want school pupils to come up with their names.
John Ray, the zoo’s manager, said: “We were going to name them, but after seeing how the children react to their little faces, we thought it would be a great idea to open this to the public.
“We’re looking for unusual names that will suit the personalities of our little meerkats. The more weird, the better.”
