Arrests over nightclub assault

POLICE have arrested two men after an assault at a Chelmsford nightspot.
Officers appealed via Facebook over the assault, which took place in Chicago’s nightclub, in the town centre, on February 7.
The men, both aged 23 from Basildon, attended Basildon police station last Thursday where they were arrested on suspicion of assault.
Both were later released on bail pending further enquiries until March 22.
