A BUILDING firm has become the sponsors of an under-8s football team in Chelmsford.
Persimmon Homes Essex has signed a deal to be the main sponsors for Chelmsford City’s age group team.
The company, which has a development in Patching Hall Lane, has also donated a new training kit for the boys, much to the delight of players and coaches at the club.
Matt Oates, team manager, said: “Chelmsford City is a high profile club so it is great for the young players to feel important when on the pitch, and the matching kit has helped the team come together.”
