EXTRA park and ride services have been set up by Essex County Council in Chelmsford ahead of the festive season.
Between Sunday and New Year’s Eve, buses at both the Sandon and Chelmer Valley park and ride centres will run additional services to help Christmas shoppers.
On each Sunday running up to Christmas Day, buses will depart from each site every 15 minutes from 9am to 5pm.
Saturday service levels will also be provided at both sites on December 24, 27, 28, 29 and 31.
Each centre will be closed on December 25, 26 and 30 along with New Year’s Day.
