POLICE are investigating an allegation of a serious sexual assault on a teenage girl in Shoebury Park.
The assault is thought to have happened between 9.30pm and 10pm on Thursday (April 8).
However, it was not reported to police until the following day.
Officers cordoned off part of the park last night and this morning while they investigated the crime scene.
