The new look Thunderbirds will get a blast from the past after the co-creator of the original series signed up to voice one of the characters.
Sylvia Anderson, who created the show with husband Gerry, voiced the Lady Penelope character in the original series.
She will play the same character’s great aunt Sylvia in a new episode written by comic David Baddiel.
The new ITV series, Thunderbirds Are Go, features Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike as Lady Penelope with Kayvan Novak as Brains.
David Graham is reprising his original role as the driver, Parker.
While the original series featured puppets, the new version will mix CGI animation with live action sets and is set to be on TV in the spring.
