Victoria Beckham has cooked up a very traditional British party feast for her sons to take to school for International Food Day.

Posh Spice tweeted a picture of cheese and pineapple on sticks, sausage rolls and pork pies with British flags in them and a cuddly British bull dog, as part of Romeo, nine, and six-year-old Cruz's school project.

Victoria tweeted: "Just finished cooking! Very proud to be British!!"

The 37-year-old fashion designer has previously confessed she is not the best cook, but always makes an effort for her family.

Victoria said in 2008: "The only thing I can cook really is mince meat, which is ironic because I'm a vegetarian. But I like calzone and lasagna. I cooked every day in Spain so David and the boys lived off minced meat for four years.

"I cook a Sunday dinner every single Sunday I'll have you know. My kids like Yorkshire pudding so I make that, I can make it from scratch and I make Dora the Explorer cakes for afters because the kids love them."

The mother-of-four's cooking session came after she and husband David had spent the night surrounded by slightly more glamorous canapes at the Latin Music Awards VIP reception in Los Angeles.

Victoria and David met up with friend Marc Anthony and his new girlfriend Shannon De Lima.

Singer Marc - ex-husband of Jennifer Lopez - quipped as he was pictured with David: "When I left home today I felt handsome, and then they stand me next to this."
