Former Towie star Mark Wright has said his party days are behind him now that he’s married to actress Michelle Keegan.
The 29-year-old said the couple love staying in and watching the telly – but although they’re both stars of the small screen, he said they don’t intend to work together.
He told the Daily Mirror: “Michelle and I don’t do telly together. We like to keep things separate. We’re both aware that we’re not at the peak of our career.
“We’re on the rise. While we’re trying to make it to where we want to be, we want to do it on our own.
“I want to get credit for getting a prime-time high-rating TV show without it being because I’m with Michelle.
“My career’s so important to me. If we work together as well, it’s too much.”
Talking about how he’s changed since becoming a husband to the former Coronation Street star, he said he has noticed a transition and spoke of “going from a boy to a man”.
Mark, who presents Take Me Out: The Gossip, told the newspaper: “When I was young, I was a lad, I’d get drunk three times a week. Now I’m a lot more thoughtful, I take life a little bit more seriously.”
He added: “I’m an old fogey.”
Mark talked about what he and Michelle enjoy doing together, saying: “Staying in for us is like a night out, we love it.
“What are we going to have for dinner, what are we going to watch on the telly, what DVD are we going to watch?”
