The big picture: Part two of the thrilling story that began in Killer Instinct. The gangster Jacques Mesrine (Vincent Cassel) is declared France's Public Enemy Number One. Cornered by his most dogged pursuer, Commander Broussard, Mesrine is sentenced to a maximum security prison. There he writes his memoirs, becoming a household name and anti-hero, but manages to execute another daring escape. Ludivine Sagnier and Mathieu Amalric also star.
