The big picture: Horror-thriller continuing the hugely popular Final Destination franchise that began in 2000. This film plays in digital 3D (where available), bringing the action closer than ever. On what should be a fun-filled day out, Nick O'Bannon has a grisly premonition in which racing cars crash, sending flaming debris into the stands and causing the upper deck to collapse on him. When he snaps out of this nightmare, Nick persuades his girlfriend and their friends to leave – but if he thinks they've really cheated death, he should think again.
