The big picture: Comedy directed by Chris Columbus, who made the first two Harry Potter films, Home Alone and Mrs Doubtfire . This is the story of a nerdy guy leaving school who uses his graduation speech to proclaim his love for the school's most popular cheerleader, Beth Cooper, played by Hayden Panettiere (from Heroes ). Imagine his surprise when she shows up at his door and decides to show him the night of his life!
