This is a violent game. It has a 15 rating, so you can expect plenty of broken bones, blood, mayhem, and erm, violence.
If you didn’t know, that title stands for Ultimate Fighting Championship. And you get to use plenty of different brands. There are three striking styles and three grappling styles.
Some of the types of fighting in the game will be familiar to most, and others that are somewhat unusual – for instance you can choose things like boxing, kickboxing, Maui Thai and wrestling.
There is also Judo or even something called Brazilian Jujitsu.
Dirty fighting? Yep. Fair fighting? Well, to a degree, but where’s the fun in that?
Marital arts, throwing people around, that sort of thing all wrapped up in crisp graphics and fairly easy control system makes this one to have.
Learn it all in the exhibition mode, and once you start getting good, there are some championships that need winning.
Create your own loon and make sure his appearance is just right before tossing him into the ring or cage, or nightmare, and see what happens.
You need to get yourself to a level where someone will exploit you, erm, I mean hire you. Then it’s all training and fighting and then some more fighting.
